Review supplier documentation, perform quality review and track document progress. Review project time schedule and Client contract.
• ��
Support construction and commissioning, select pipe material and weight estimate (e.g. BoQ preparation).
• ��
Create new pipe classes, maintain existing and select pipe material based on process requirements. Contribute to create, maintain and improve standard documentation (e.g. Work Instructions).
• ��
Prepare technical specifications for Pipe Material, Pipe Supports and provide support for Piping Detail Engineering, prepare piping strength calculation and pipe support details and criteria.
• ��
Manage suppliers throughout the project, including reviewing all supplier documentation. Qualifications
• ��
Very good product and system knowledge, i.e. expertise in piping materials, codes and standards (ASME / EN), prefabrication, cleaning, erection, quality assurance (workshop and erection) including pressure test procedures.
• ��
7+ years of experience in piping design of heavy industrial plants, power plants or Oil and Gas plant.
• ��
Knowledge of 3D design tools and CAE tools (e.g. COMOS) and 3D viewers (e.g. Navisworks).
• ��
Fluency in English (German would be of advantage).
