of the Republic of Singapore in Geneva would like to invite suitable
candidates to apply for a full-time contract position of a Research Officer/Translator. Research Officer/Translator
The expected job responsibilities are as follows:
Research Work

• Monitor daily local newspapers and media and prepare daily press reports. - Conduct online research and prepare reports where required
  
• Follow local media conferences/media briefings/announcements from the government and international agencies and file reports
  
Translation/Interpretation

• Translate into English relevant news articles from local and foreign language newspapers for the daily press reports. - Translate incoming mail from French/German into English, and vice-versa where necessary. - Provide interpretation support at meetings and events. Other duties:
  
• Assist in the Fonction’s events and other administrative tasks when required. - Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Applicants should possess the following
  



QUALIFICATIONS




• Good command of English, French and German
  
• University degree with relevant experience. Prior related parcours professionnel would be an advantage
  
• Reasonable IT and Microsoft applications knowledge
